Regulatory Status

UK Solar Fund is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The services we provide fall outside the scope of regulated activities under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) and the Regulated Activities Order 2001. This is because:

• Our services, the development of renewable energy projects to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status, the arrangement of commercial Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and any commercial asset finance arrangements we facilitate, are commercial B2B arrangements, not consumer credit, investments, deposits, insurance, or mortgages.
• We work exclusively with business and non-consumer clients (see "Who We Serve" below), who are not "relevant recipients of credit" under FSMA and therefore fall outside the consumer credit regulatory regime.
• Any asset finance we arrange is exempt unregulated business finance, provided solely to corporate entities for commercial purposes.

Because our services are unregulated:

• Clients do not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) in relation to our services.
• Clients are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in relation to our services.
• Disputes are resolved in accordance with the contractual terms agreed between UK Solar Fund and each client, under English law.

UK Solar Fund does not hold itself out as being FCA-authorised, and no content on this website should be interpreted as a financial promotion of a regulated investment, deposit, consumer credit product, or other regulated financial service.

Who We Serve

UK Solar Fund provides services exclusively to non-consumer business clients, specifically:

• UK limited companies
• LLPs
• larger partnerships
• public sector bodies
• other business entities

We do not offer our services, products, or any form of finance to:

• Private individuals or consumers
• Sole traders
• Partnerships of three or fewer partners
• Any party acting outside the course of a business or trade
